Welcome to Physics!

This course covers the following topics using algebraic methods only:

• Describing motion in 1 and 2 dimensions (Kinematics & Projectiles)

• Forces 

• Momentum

• Energy

• Mechanical Waves & Sound

• Light & Color

• Electric Circuits

• Magnetism

Students who complete this course will be excellently prepared to take AP Physics 1 as a senior elective, if desired! 

This course incorporates methods from the American Modeling Teachers Association and the Interactive Science Learning Environment which have both been shown to significantly increase student outcomes in understanding of physics.
